Alessandro Ruggieri

Alessandro Ruggieri graduated from Università di Padova in 2020 and finished his PhD in 2024. 

His work is focused on the analysis of radial velocity data, especially for the discovery and characterization of long-period giant planets or brown dwarfs in combination with other detection methods. He has also worked on photometric and activity indicator data.

As part of his PhD project, he led a large statistical analysis aimed at studying the architectures of planetary systems hosting a Jupiter-like planet to determine whether there is a connection with small inner planets.
